Google Cloud Platform

Google Cloud Platform – GCP

Google Cloud Platform providers do you know by submerging your fiber optic cables? And the nice thing is that network speed also helps reduce overall costs. The faster Google Cloud platform gives you the ability to process more data in less time. With such a large infrastructure and network, you can offer the cheapest computer prices shown above.

Google Cloud Platform has introduced a separate premium and standard level network. This makes it the first large public cloud to offer a multi-layered cloud network. The premium level provides traffic on the well-supplied global network with low Google latency with high reliability. Redundancy is the key.

As a result, there are at least three independent paths (N + 2 redundancy) between two locations on the Google Network to ensure that traffic continues between locations, even in the event of an interruption.

The default level offers network quality comparable to other major public clouds. It provides outbound traffic from GCP to the Internet via transit networks (ISP) rather than via the Google network.

Below is the difference in latency at the premium level of the Google Cloud platform compared to the US default level.

Take advantage of the premium level of the Google Cloud Platform for all our customers to guarantee extremely fast loading times, minimizing traceroute jumps and reducing the distance left for data.

Real-time migration of virtual machines

Another big advantage for Google Cloud Hosting, in particular the way we use virtual machine migrations here. Neither AWS, Azure or smaller providers like Digital Ocean offer this functionality. So this is a very important difference for Google Cloud compared to other cloud providers. This means that, as a WordPress hosting provider, we are basically always up to date with our virtual machines and we don’t see any significant performance degradation in the real-time migration of virtual machines between host machines.

With the benefits of real-time migrations, Google engineers can better address problems such as software and hardware patching, repair and update without having to worry about restarting the computer. Miche Baker-Harvey, technical manager / manager at Google, has put together a great illustration of the general steps involved in a real-time VM migration.
